You should aim to create the mind state of satisfaction. This is what consumer experts would categorize as a good inter design process. You want your guest to feel comfortable, safe, and as close to the 'at home' aura a possible. This has been known to make them more grateful of the hotel and its service. Also, this type of design makes customers want to come back which in turn creates more profit for the owner.
