An experienced free diver shared a video of the sun rising over the ocean just hours before he vanished while spearfishing with friends off the coast of .Norwegian man Didrik Hurum had been in the water with friends near popular diving site Flat Rock, 6km off North Stradbroke Island, when he suddenly vanished at around 11.15am on Wednesday.The 25-year-old diver and Freediving Mask fisherman was one of four men that were Freediving Mask that day.Mr Hurum had been about 40 metres deep when his diving partner lost sight of him as he failed to resurface, reported. Local lifesavers also scoured the area on jet skis. Queensland Water Police Senior-Sergeant Mitch Gray said there's two possible reasons Mr Hurum became separated from his diving group.'One is that he released his weight belt while underwater and became disorientated, separating him from his partner. The second is that he may have had a shallow water blackout,' he said. Water police, police divers and crews from Marine Search and Rescue have been scouring the waters since his disappearance with teams continuing to search the coastline on Thursday'We are throwing everything at it to bring this young boy back to his family, it must be so concerning for them back home in Norway while he is missing.'A shallow water blackout is a loss of consciousness which occurs when oxygen is unable to get to the brain.Mr Hurum is a marine science student at Griffith University and Freediving Mask currently lives on the Gold Coast.He had earlier served in the Norwegian Armed Forces and regularly posts videos and photos of himself free diving and fishing.  Life savers on jet skis also scoured the area after it was reported Mr Hurum was missing
