About Me

One of the many things you learn when you receive an Diabetes 2 diagnosis is that heart disease comes along with it. Those with diabetes have a significantly higher risk of developing heart disease. This could lead to a stroke or heart attack, and could even be fatal. It is important to maintain healthy cholesterol levels. It is an undisputed fact that when the cholesterol level of a patient with Type II Diabetes gets out of control, 脫毛 their chance of eventually experiencing blood vessel and heart problems is out of control too. Limit your cholesterol as soon as you can.
What is the healthy cholesterol level for people with type 2 diabetes? They are actually the same for all. The total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and triglyceride levels can all be tested through cholesterol health tests. Let's begin with your total cholesterol level. As long as your cholesterol levels are in healthy levels, your total cholesterol should not be more than 200 mg/dL (5.2mmol/l). You are considered to be having high cholesterol if your total cholesterol falls between 200 mg/dl and 脫毛 239 mg/dl (5.2-6.2 mg/l). The term "high cholesterol" refers to a score of 240 mg/dl (6.8 mmol/l) or more.
Type 2 Diabetes sufferers must monitor their HDL and LDL levels.
HDL is the best form of cholesterol. These values should be greater than lower. Your HDL value above 60 mg/dl (1.6 millimol/l) falls in the good range. If your HDL level is between 50-60 mg/dl (1.3-1.6 mmol/l) for a woman, you are at high risk of high cholesterol. If you're a male and your HDL is between 40 and 50 mg/dl (1.03- 1.3) then you are indeed at risk for high cholesterol. If you have a score lower than 40 mg/dl (1.03mmol/l) is in danger.
LDL is known as the bad cholesterol. The lower your number goes the better. Your LDL should be less than 100 mg/dl (2.6 Mmol/l). This is the best thing to know. This isn't optimal however, it is possible to have a level of between 100 and 129 mg/dl (2.6-3.3 mmol/l). It is considered borderline if it is between 130 mg/dl and 159 mg/dl (3.3-4.1 mmol/l). If it's between 160-189 mg/dl (4.1 - 4.9 mg/l), you officially have high cholesterol. If it's above 190 mg/dl (4.9 mmol/l) that means you are in danger.
Triglycerides, a kind of fat, increases with cholesterol. Doctors test it along with cholesterol levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. The lower your number the better off you will be. If your triglycerides are less than 150 mg/dl (1.7 mmol/l), you are in the right range. They should be between 150 mg/dl and 199 mg/dl (1.7 to 2.25 mmol/l). This is regarded as borderline. You are in the high-risk zone if they are between 200 and 499 mg/dl (2.5 -5.6 mmol/l). Above 500 mg/dl (5.6 mmol/l) You are in the danger zone.
